Sooo
Its been a while
ive been searching far and wide for a method to 3D print some
Bounty Skulls from Sea of Thieves
and since noone wanted to share those highly confidential informations imma go full snowden and put together a tutorial:
1. Download the Game FROM STEAM
(it doesnt work with the Microsoft Store version because of some magical FuckYouEncryption™)
2. Download UE VIEWER from Gildors Site (thank you very much)
3. Open UModel and insert the directory of the Athena/Content/Paks File, usually its at
\Steam\steamapps\common\Sea of Thieves\Athena\Content\Paks
check the override game detection and choose "Unreal engine 4" and "Sea of Thieves"
4. Find the asset you want to export, usually at /Models or Starlight/Models for the Pirates Life Campaign.
(If you opened a model to check it, type "O" to get back to the File Manager
5. As of 2021 use the AES key
0x37A0BC3DC2E01D9EB4923CA266A5701F56A4802347F07927FC3FC25C93B31B50
to export a model.
But whats this? The exported asset is a .pskx file, what to do with it?
6. Download Blender
7. Download the .psk importer
8. Open Blender, unpack the Importer
- Open the Addons Manager at File/Preferences ->Add-Ons
- Install the Addon you just unpacked and activate it by clicking the checkbox
9. On the right side open the Tab Menu and click the PSK/PSA Tab
- Hit "Import PSK"
- Find your exported .psks File and open it
- Voila theres your model
10. Now you can export the model as .fbx or .obj or .stl
Congratulations, you've done it, now you can 3dprint your exported model.

If my tutorial was of any use to you i'd be happy for some support on my social media.
